Tribal Fusion Choreography and Combinations is held every Thursday at 8:30 pm.
Cost: $9 for a single class or $40 for a five-class card!
Registration: This class is run loosely on sessions. Drop-ins are always welcome, but we may be in the middle of a choreography. Contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Description: This class will focus on creating and adapting fresh combinations, stylizations, and moves into one’s vocabulary. We focus on techniques found in other dance forms (such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and ballroom) that will allow you to explore and heighten your personal style while improving technique in bellydance vocabulary. You will have the opportunity to perform each completed choreography in the absolutely beautiful Alhambra Restaurant with Chicago’s premier tribal bellydance group Read My Hips (performance is not a requirement). Appropriate for intermediate and advanced dancers.
